Saturday we open Everleigh Estates at UP North.

A picture paints a thousand words and with your help, we plan on telling a thousand fun stories. Viewing a piece of art evokes emotions, from laughter to deep thoughts. It's personal and visceral. During this show, you'll choose from 100 different works of art, and you will help chose them. Our talented improvisers will take inspiration from these selections and "paint" improvised scenes exploring their reactions to the pieces in front of your very eyes. Museums can be so stuffy -- why not get your art fix with a side of comedy?

Comedy...the final frontier. Adventure! Undiscovered alien cultures! Lots of laughter. As part of the Seattle Emerald City Comic Con celebrations, Unexpected Productions Improv presents Seattle Experimental Theater's original unscripted comedy Where No Man Has Gone Before.

It's a fully improvised parody of the original Star Trek TV series, and you can join the Enterprise crew as they beam down to an alien planet (defined by audience suggestion). But will the aliens turn out to be friends or foes? Tensions rise as the crew and their ship are put in unforeseen danger.

Based on audience suggestion, two teams of improvisers rumble, competing with exciting fast-paced segments improv games, stories, scenes, and a few songs. Boo the judges as they award points to each team. At the end of the night, a team is declared a winner, the person with the best audience suggestion walks out with a prize and you walk out with new memories.

Sunday Piggyback: Stand Up and Improv Comedy Combined , 8:30, $15

Stand-up comedy and improv are usually two separate types of comedy that you won't see in the same show, but Unexpected Productions' Piggyback brings them both together so you can enjoy two types of comedy in one hilarious night. This run is the series finale.
First, a professional comedian will perform their stand-up routine, then talented improv artists will create a narrative story in a particular genre of film or literature. The story created will be inspired by the material from the stand-up act.

Piggyback has been featured at Bumbershoot, the Washington Comedy Festival, and the Highlarous Comedy Festival.

March 11 Sun. Inside Story: Adventures in Storytelling, 8:30 $15

Our talented cast of improvisers are inspired to create a stories from your true-life secret, personal, and funny stories. And in between each improv story, several of Seattle's most respected storytellers will share a prepared story based on their lives and an improvised, true-to-life story based on a subject drawn from the "topic bowl." It's The Moth meets Whose Line is it Anyway, only less formatted, more spontaneous and out of control fun! Come share an Inside Story.
