Tacoma Little Theatre presents a special PAY WHAT YOU CAN PERFORMANCE of the 2013 Tony Award winning comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, written by Christopher Durang, and directed by Frank Kohel.
Middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia share a home in Bucks County, PA, where they bicker and complain about the circumstances of their lives. Suddenly, their movie-star sister, Masha, swoops in with her new boy toy, Spike. Old resentments flare up, eventually leading to threats to sell the house. Also on the scene are sassy maid Cassandra, who can predict the future, and a lovely young aspiring actress named Nina, whose prettiness somewhat worries the imperious Masha.
There will be a special "Pay What You Can" performance on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Tickets for that performance will be available beginning Wednesday, April 13, 2016 in person or over the phone.
This production features Martin Larson (Vanya), Dayna Childs (Sonia), Stephanie Leeper (Masha), Fred Johnson (Spike), LaNita Hudson (Cassandra), and Leena Lambert (Nina).
