Trevor is a MAP-flavored tragicomedy about family, the nature of love, and the lies we tell ourselves to avoid facing sad and terrible truths. At the center of this world are Trevor, an almost-famous chimpanzee, and his owner & "mom" Sandra. Trevor's getting older and more uncontrollable by the day, but Sandra knows Trevor would never hurt a fly ... not on purpose, anyway. A painfully funny satire exploring how flawed communication can lead to disaster.
Trevor is written by playwright and screenwriter Nick Jones, and directed by Julie Beckman. Starring Teri J. Lazzara as Sandra and Brandon Ryan as Trevor, the cast is completed with the acting talents of Michael D. Blum, Jesse Calixto, Danielle Daggerty, and Zenaida Rose Smith.
The Trevor design team includes Jessamyn Bateman-Iino (Props), Mario Gomez (Sound), Corinne Magin (Costumes), Robin Macartney (Scenic), and Levi Plumb (Lighting).
