In late October, Theatre Puget Sound (TPS) will hold Washington's second annual regional theatre awards ceremony to recognize outstanding local artists, productions and companies from the 2009/2010 season. The nominees will appear on a ballot, to be voted on by the members of TPS. In addition, the thirteenth annual 2010 Gregory Falls Lifetime Achievement Award will also be presented at the event. To honor the recipients, TPS will host a catered reception that will include an awards ceremony and live entertainment throughout the evening.

The Gregory Awards ceremony is an opportunity to come together to celebrate theatre in our region, honor the outstanding achievements of local artists, and to raise the visibility of the local theatre scene as a whole.

Where: ACT  - A Contemporary Theatre , Kreielsheimer Place, 700 Union Street, Seattle.
When: The evening of 10/25/2010 (Exact time to be announced at a later date).

Based on overwhelming response from the community, we have added 5 new categories, for a total of 11 distinctions (see below).

Any Washington State resident will have the opportunity to nominate one candidate in each category. To submit a candidate for nomination, the public can sign up at seattleperforms.com to receive the Seattle Performs monthly e-newsletter. The candidate receiving the most votes (in each category) will appear on the final ballot alongside the other nominees, and will be referred to as the People's Choice nominee.

TPS members will have the opportunity to nominate one candidate in each category during the nomination process (last year, members wrote in candidates during the final voting process). This candidate will appear on the final ballot alongside the other nominees, and be referred to as the Member's Voice nominee.
