Audience favorite Patrick Lennon returns as the sometimes sanguine, frequently surly David (AKA Crumpet the Elf) in Joe Montello's adaptation of The Santaland Diaries, David Sedaris' witty and sardonic chronicle of the holiday season. The Santaland Diaries previews December 5th, and runs December 6th to 24TH, 2013 at the historic Bathhouse Theater on Green Lake.
Patrick Lennon reprises his one-man performance as David (Crumpet), an aspiring young artist struggling to survive in New York City. Desperate for cash, David finds employment as a minion of Santa Claus at Macy's Santaland. Told in Sedaris' inimitable style, The Santaland Diaries is steeped in caustic humor and irony that strips away the layers of frenzied holiday insanity to reveal the best and worst in us all. SPT Artistic Associate, Kelly Kitchens (Book-It's She's Come Undone and Wooden O's The Tempest) returns to direct.
