Highlighted workshops and mini-classes coming up this summer:

Creating Creativity: Strategies and Techniques of Working Artists
Saturday, July 24 and Saturday, August 7 (2 sessions)

Designed for everyone from art beginners to working professionals in any field who want to break out of a creative block, this class will teach you practical creative strategies fitted to your own individual strengths.

Cut and Paste Intensive
Monday - Friday, August 30 - September 3
(Taught by Deborah Schwartzkopf)
$310 Members | $335 Nonmembers
Join us for a special week-long intensive hands-on workshop. Deborah will demonstrate a variety of construction techniques used to create her functional vessels, and will discuss the inspiration for her work. Students will be introduced to basic template construction and bisque molds. Demonstrations will include combining hand built slab pieces with thrown and altered forms.

Block Printing
Wednesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 30 (2 sessions)
(Taught by Theresa Neinas)

An overview of relief block printing, touching on composition, technique, and individual design. This mini-class covers the basics of transferring a design or image, carving an easy cut or safety cut block, and printing.

Mixed Media and Collage
Friday, July 9 to Sunday, July 11 (3 sessions)

Explore collage processes and assemblage techniques with an emphasis on creative visual thinking in this fun weekend workshop.

Painted Sketch Workshop
Friday, June 18 and Friday, June 25 (2 sessions)
(Taught by Ryan Finnerty)
$65 Members | $75 Nonmembers
Learn techniques and approaches for painting optically, using color and light as the bases of your method. This workshop will teach you to paint by composing with color quickly and responsively.
