Seattle's Showbox at the Market to Reschedule 'Passion Pit' Concert

Passion Pit, scheduled to perform October 11th at Showbox at the Market, has been postponed due to an illness in the band. More details on the rescheduled date will be announced soon and all tickets will be honored.

Passion Pit formed in 2007 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Members include Michael Angelakos, Ian Hultquist, Ayad Al Adhamy, Jeff Apruzzese, and Nate Donmoyer.  It's popular single "Sleepyhead" has gained media exposure in Canada, the UK, and the United States. Pitchfork Media, a Chicago-based daily Internet publication devoted to music criticism and commentary, included the "Sleepyhead" music video in its top 40 music videos of 2008 list. Their first full-length studio album, Manners, was realeased in May of 2009 in the US and the UK. The band's live performances have been received well.

Seattle Theatre Group is a non-profit arts organization that operates the historic Paramount and Moore Theatres in Seattle, Washington. Their mission is to make diverse performing arts and education an integral part of the region's cultural identity while keeping these two landmark venues alive and vibrant.
