Seattle Shakespeare Company will hold its annual season gala "Bill's Birthday Bash" on Monday, April 24, 2006. This celebration of William Shakespeare's 442nd birthday, to be held at the Center House Theatre at the SeattleCenter, includes both silent and live auctions, hearty hors d'oeuvres, and a special "Bill's Birthday Cabaret" featuring musical entertainment and special guests from previous Late Night Cabarets. Proceeds from "The Bash" benefit Seattle Shakespeare Company's artistic and educational programming.
Doors to "The Bash" open at 5:30 PM with drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and the
silent auction. The live auction with guest auctioneer David Silverman
features mountain cabin getaways, a private scenic airplane flight around
Puget Sound, hotel trips, fine wine packages and more. The evening wraps up
with "Bill's Birthday Cabaret" featuring humorous musical entertainment with
cast members from the past productions at Seattle Shakespeare Company.
Tickets to "The Bash" are $45 per person ($35 for Seattle Shakespeare
Company subscribers). Suggested attire for the evening is birthday party
festive.
