The University Village Barnes & Noble continues to host Seattle Opera's "Creating Amelia" series this week (thru Sunday, April 18) by hosting a book fair. In the weeks leading up to the world premiere of AMELIA, Seattle Opera presents a variety of panel discussions, lectures, and other events designed to provide unique insight into the development of this new work and reach out to new communities with particular ties to the opera's story and themes. The book fair features works from both Amelia librettist Gardner McFall and composer Daron Aric Hagen. Seattle Opera benefits from the sale of ALL items in the store during this week. Mention the Seattle Opera at checkout, and a portion of the sale will be donated back to them. In addition to the book fair, two live-streamed Amelia events still remain- "Creating Amelia" and a Librettist Lecture.
