Seattle Fringe Festival to present IF I WERE ME… I'D KNOW WHAT I WANT

Award-winning writer and performer Pamela Ziemann plays 10 characters on her life journey as she searches for and finds her voice.

This play comes at a political time when it's more important than ever to muster the courage to express our personal truth.

One fan remarked, "I thought this play was her entertaining story, but soon realized it's about my life and all of our lives. Through the laughs, I understood how important it is that we all show up and be heard."

As a farmer's daughter Pamela reluctantly enters a dairy princess contest while secretly wanting to be at an Alice Cooper concert. After moving to Indonesia with her New York fitness-junkie fiancé, she returns to her Minnesota family farm to find it filled with genetically modified seed. Magically, a gnome appears and hints how she's been modified too. Her journey begs the question, "Can you speak the truth while living a lie?"

The Seattle Fringe Festival allows performers to express themselves uncensored with a direct line to the audience.
