Seattle Festival of Improv Theater is a four-day improv celebration that has taken place for the past eight years. Groups from all over North America descend upon the city to perform at two different venues: the Historic University Theater (home of Jet City Improv) and The Market Theater (home of Seattle Theatersports). Every year the SFIT searches for the funniest and most innovative improv comedy that can be found. SFIT 2010 will feature performances by BASSPROV (Chicago), CONFIDENCE MEN: Improvised Mamet (Austin), FRENCH FARCE (Austin), GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS (Austin), NINJAVOCATION (Santa Monica), DIRTY LAUNDRY (Seattle), BUNKER 13 (Seattle), UNEXPECTED THEATRE (Seattle), QUIET MONKEY FIGHT (Seattle), PUPPET TV (Seattle), IMPROSIA (Seattle), GILLETT & SUTTON (Seattle + Chicago).

Performances will take place on February 18th at 8pm and February 19th and 20th at 8pm and 10:30.  Tickets are $15 or $45 for a VIP pass good for all shows. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.seattleimprov.com.  Parental Guidence is suggested.  In addition to performances, Improv classes will be taught by performers February 20th and 21st.

The Seattle Festival of Improv Theater is committed to bringing the most innovative and provocative improv theater to Seattle every year.  SFIT 2010 is a co-production of the premiere improv companies in Seattle, Wing-It Productions and Unexpected Productions, and is sponsored by KUOW.
