Seattle Center Teen Tix announces the winners of its 3rd annual Teeny Awards. The Awards are given each year by the Teen Tix Teen Steering Committee, based on voting by Teen Tix members. On July 22, Teen Tix surprised the winning organizations with a special cheer and dance routine choreographed by local choreographer Christy McNeil and performed by the Teeny Awards Delivery Squad: Teen Tix members Ivy Raines, Aeon Gaines, and Megan Chun.
The list of this year's awardees includes some of the Seattle area's most venerable large arts organizations as well as severAl Smaller professional arts groups. Shows and exhibits that took place between May 2010 and May 2011 at 38 organizations participating in Teen Tix were eligible for awards.
