Seattle Theatre Group has announced Remlinger Farms Concerts, a new partnership with Remlinger Farms, a family-owned and operated working farm and amusement center in Carnation, WA, to present concerts, arts and cultural events, and STG Education and Community Engagement programming on the Remlinger Farms property starting in summer 2024.
The partnership follows the wildly successful sold out three-night residency by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard at Remlinger Farms in July 2023, that was produced by STG and was the first collaboration between the two organizations. STG is focused on differentiating the region’s summer outdoor concert experience with Remlinger Farms Concerts. It intends to curate programming to serve the community broadly, creating a family friendly environment with an emphasis on accessibility.
“We are excited to continue to do what STG does best – produce exceptional music, comedy, and cultural experiences – in this beautiful location that we are honored to call our fourth venue,” said Adam Zacks, STG’s Chief Programming Officer. “The Remlinger family is wonderful, and we could not be more thrilled to be in partnership with such exceptional and community-focused people.”
“Remlinger Farms is excited to partner with Seattle Theatre Group and foster a dynamic collaboration between two iconic Pacific Northwest institutions,” added Nathan Sherfey, co-owner of Remlinger Farms. “Our remarkable partnership promises to bring exceptional entertainment and unforgettable experiences to visitors, showcasing the incredible charm and diverse offerings of Remlinger Farms. With our rich history, enchanting attractions, and commitment to community engagement, we're looking forward to captivating audiences and serving as a beacon of wonder in the region in this new way.”
The first show announced is indie band Mt. Joy on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Tickets go on sale at 10 AM on Friday, November 11, 2023, at www.stgpresents.org. Additional concerts and programming for summer 2024 will be announced at later dates.
STG’s three venues in Seattle – the historic Paramount, Moore, and Neptune theatres – welcome audience members from all over the Puget Sound region and this partnership is part of the organization’s long-term goal to expand and better serve its growing audience base on King County’s east side. Remlinger Farms is a 30-minute drive from Downtown Bellevue, increasing access for residents from Kirkland to Issaquah, Duvall and beyond who are seeking closer-to-home entertainment options. The introduction of Remlinger Farms as STG’s fourth venue with a capacity of up to 6,000 attendees also opens opportunities for businesses and community organizations in the surrounding area.
