There has never been mistaking Sinéad O'Connor for anybody else. A voice born to break as many hearts as windows, as tender as it is lethal. The face, simultaneously that of ocean-wide-eyed angel and shaven-headed warrior queen. And the spirit, courageous in its conviction, undaunted by controversy and fortified with endless reserves of resilience.

Twenty years after she first began transforming the pop cultural landscape with the release of her debut solo album, "The Lion and The Cobra," Sinéad O'Connor continues to delight and surprise, challenge and inspire with the sound of her voice and the power of her music on 'Theology'. "Theology is an attempt to create a place of peace in a time of war and to provoke thought," says Sinead O'Connor about her new studio album, the artist's first since her 2005 reggae collection, "Throw Down Your Arms."  "The events of September 11, 2001 contributed to the writing of the songs very very much so, as did events subsequently as they have panned out all over the world.  The whole world became a very dangerous place on that day.  I simply wanted to make a beautiful thing, out of something beautiful, which inspires me. Theology, the record, apart from being a place of peace and meditation, is a very personal emotional response."

"We've been called the biggest band nobody's ever heard of," says Brad Corrigan, one of Dispatch's three singers and multi-instrumentalists. "People either know everything about us or they know nothing. There never seems to be any middle ground."   How Corrigan, Chad Stokes, and Pete Francis met in college, formed a band, and - with no radio airplay, major-label support, or significant press coverage - became one of the biggest draws on the live music scene, and arguably the biggest independent rock band in history, is a remarkable story.   In March 2012, Dispatch embarks on its first-ever European tour, performing at theatres in London, Paris, Berlin, and Zurich, before appearing at the Bonnaroo Festival in June, followed by the August release of the band's first full-length studio album in 12 years, Circles Around the Sun.  Not wanting to let down those fervent souls, Dispatch decided to record new music, which led to last year's Dispatch EP and now Circles Around The Sun. "We all write so we knew there was material out there," Stokes says. "If we were going to do a tour, we wanted to play new songs."   Another motivator was knowing that they were giving back to the fans who had given so much to them. "It's a dream to know that your music is actually a part of people's experiences and becomes tied to special moments in their life," Corrigan says. "That makes it all worth it. Also, it all just feels fun again. We're so fired up to be great friends and to travel the world and see places we've never been before. I mean, come on. It doesn't get much better than that."

* DISPATCH will be offering live audio downloads of every show on the North American leg of the Circles Around The Sun Tour within 48 hours of the show ending. Every ticket purchased comes with a FREE download of that particular show. Attending fans will be able to redeem the bar code number on their physical ticket for a download of the performance they attended (fans MUST keep their ticket stubs in order to do so).
