A nightmare day at the office – Iris, Goddess of Rainbows goes to Zeus asking for a promotion, instead to find out that is being permanently down-sized. To survive, she must become Zeus’ personal assistant, help him “score” with a visiting Nordic Goddess, while Hera, Zeus’ wife, has ordered Iris to ruin Zeus’ fun. What’s a Goddess to do? Find out in this hysterical farce that brings new life into the Ancient Myths.
Canadian productions have received critical acclaim. "Brilliant comedy! … Outstanding!” "Thunderbolts and Dunderheads is a very entertaining play for people of all ages!” said Tina Depko of the Brampton Guardian Review of the 2005 production.
Thunderbolts and Dunderheads features the talents of Jennifer Davies as Iris, Charles Eliot as Hermes, Larry Shaw Jr. as Zeus, Ben Johnson as Erronyus Miscellaneous, Kelly Johnson as Hera, Teresa Widner as Valkyrie, and James Lynch as Hades.
