In honor of the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, Seattle Theatre Group presents BEST OF THE BARD, a free event inviting members of the public to celebrate the creative genius of the legendary playwright by reciting selections from his various works. The event will take place in the lobby of the historic Moore Theatre today, April 23rd from 12 pm to 3 pm.

Those interested in performing can RSVP by visiting stgpresents.org and filling out the online form. Those who RSVP will have the opportunity to perform a selection from their favorite sonnet, play, poem, or character - by heart. All performances must be under one minute and will be filmed to share online following the event. Groundlings are welcome to observe and festival attire is encouraged. Mead will be provided for those attendees who are over 21, with free orange slices available for all!
