Seattle Center 2011 Festivals and Events Guide is now available. The 44-page pocket-sized hand book, produced by Seattle Center, contains listings and descriptions for numerous events, activities and initiatives happening at Seattle Center during the year.
The Festivals and Events Guidepromotes the Live at Seattle Center campaign by including information on:
· Seattle Center Productions programming, including: Teen Tix, Whirligig, Movies at the Mural, KEXP and Seattle Center Present Concerts at the Mural, Seattle Center Winterfest and the 21 cultural festivals of Seattle Center Festál;
· Races, runs and walks at Seattle Center;
· Annual expos and festivals presented by community organizations;
· Seattle Center facilities, such as Marion Oliver McCaw Hall and KeyArena.
Readers will also find information on The Next Fifty (50th anniversary celebration of the 1962 Seattle World"s Fair), the Seattle Center Century 21 Master Plan, and campus amenities. This series of 21 cultural festivals at Seattle Center, organized by community organizations in partnership with Seattle Center, offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the cultures of ethnic groups in our region as they experience their performing and visual arts, popular entertainment, traditions, foods and family activities.
