Photo Flash: Take a Look at Bainbridge Performing Arts' Upcoming Season Including Regional Premiere of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT

All Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA) events are held at 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island. Box Office hours are Wednesday through Friday, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., and one hour prior to each performance. BPA is supported, in part, by the Bainbridge Community Foundation and One Call for All. Bainbridge Performing Arts is pleased to offer an "Open Doors" program. Free and reduced-cost tickets to most events are available to community members in need through our partner Helpline House thanks to grants from BCF, the Mabee Family Foundation, and the Alder Fund at the Bainbridge Community Foundation.

October 6: BPA Gallery First Friday Artwalk "Landed"
Join us in the BPA Gallery for an artist reception and an enjoyable evening of art and friends. Photographer Tom Ciaburri describes his October photography exhibit in the BPA Gallery as a story about spheres that descend one spring night in the Berkshire Hills. Why they appear is unknown. What they are or do is unknown. "Landed" is about the moment of discovery, the moment when - even if just for a second - absolute belief exists, and everything is possible.

October 7: The EDGE Improv
Perk up your fall harvest with a barrel of laughs, The EDGE Improv, and an evening of imagination on demand! You won't want to miss The EDGE Improv's October performance at BPA, where the troupe's riotous antics have inspired rave reviews from shrewd onlookers since the beginning of time.
Performance: First Saturdays all year @ 7:30 p.m. Patrons are requested to arrive no later than 7:20 p.m. prior to each performance.

October 13 - 29: Regional Premiere of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT - THE MUSICAL
Take a journey to the heart of FABULOUS! Tick, Bernadette, and Adam - a glamorous Sydney-based performing trio - head to the middle of the Australian outback, hopping aboard a battered old bus (nicknamed "Priscilla") while searching for love and friendship. This wildly fresh and funny musical features a dazzling array of outrageous costumes and a hit parade of dance-floor favorites.

October 30: BPA Theatre School presents THE POE SHOW
Join BPA Theatre School students for a one-act medley of some of Edgar Allan Poe's better-known short stories, including "The Telltale Heart" and "The Premature Burial." THE POE SHOW will be spooky, edgy, and dark - just in time for Halloween!
