The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to present its 5th ANNUAL "Special" JOINT PRESENTATON with its very own LAKEWOOD INSTITUTE of THEATRE - "THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ" for 9 SHOWS ONLY! The famous story by F. Frank Baum is adapted by Robert & Willie Beale and is a beautiful steampunk reimagining of this American Classic that will be an amazing adventure for the entire family!! The Show will run from NOVEMBER 3rd through the NOVEMBER 13th and be performed on Thursdays,Fridays & Saturdays at 7:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm - With a SPECIAL PERFORMANCE on Wednesday, November 9th at 7:00pm.

Ticket Prices are just $15.00 Each! The show is directed by The Lakewood Institute of Theatre's Education Director, Jeremy Thompson. This Production marks a true collaboration between the Lakewood Playhouse's Mainstage and its Education Department as it brings all of the production elements of a Main Stage show and combines them with the even bigger sense of wonder and adventure brought by the youth and educators!

The show has a HUGE CAST with Over 20 Actors of ALL AGES from Seven Years Old and up! It includes performances by returning actors Karly Dammel (Ensemble), Isaac Gutierrez (Pocus), Lydia Helt (Glinda), Gabi Marler (Gatekeeper), Andrew Redford (Tin Man / Mr. Woodman) and Tony L. Williams (Lion / Mr. Lyon). It also introduces a number of new faces such as Kyla Alphier (Ensemble), Sky Gibbs (Ensemble), Diane Johnson (Aunt Em / Ensemble), Ellie Johnson (Hocus), Ethan Jones (Ensemble), Hunter McCann (Ozma), Ed Medina (Uncle Henry / Ensemble), CrystalAnn Meyer (Ensemble), Katherine Mahoney (Scarecrow / Ms. Crowe), Nate Schmidt (The Wizard), Kate-Lyn Seimers (Ogma), Kyle Yoder (Ensemble) and introducing Emily Saletan (Dorothy) & Waffle (Toto).

ABOUT THE SHOW: ? "Our Annual Tradition for ALL AGES - Performed by ALL AGES!"

Follow the yellow brick road to fantastic fun play as Dorothy, the silly Scarecrow, the lovable Tin Man, and the hilarious cowardly Lion begin their journey to the merry old Land of Oz An American institution and one of the best loved classics of all time comes to life in a Steampunk setting to tell this touching tale of dreams-come-true.
