The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to present the SECOND SHOW of our 78th SEASON: The American Holiday Classic - IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE Adapted from the Film by Frank Capra.
The Play will be performed on Fridays, Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. Performances will be November 25th through December 18th, 2016 with Special Showings at 8:00pm on Thursday, December 1st (Pay What You Can Night) and 8:00pm on Thursday, December 8th ("Pay What You Can" Actor's Benefit). Our Ticket Prices are $25.00 (General Admission), $22.00 (Military), $21.00 (Seniors) and $19.00 (Students/Educators).
Presented in the Lakewood Playhouse's thrust configuration with seating facing the stage as well on both of its sides. This production of "IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE" will drop you right into the middle of beautiful, heartwarming story that is just in time to share with the entire family this Holiday Season.
"IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE" will be directed by JEN YORK whose most recent production, "THE UNDERPANTS", was a smash hit at TACOMA LITTLE THEATRE. Mrs. York was also the director of one of our previous Holiday Classics - "THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION THE WITCH & THE WARDROBE."

The saga of George Bailey, the Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been quashed by family obligation and civic duty, whose guardian angel has to descent on Christmas Eve to save him from despair and to remind him-by showing him what the world would have been like had he never been born-that his has been, after all, a wonderful life.
