The Lakewood Playhouse will present its 2nd annual "special" joint presentation with its very own Lakewood Institute of Theatre -- C.S. Lewis' THE CHRONICLES of NARNIA: THE LION THE WITCH & THE WARDROBE for 10 shows only! The play will be performed on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 7:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. The show has a huge cast of 30 actors and actresses...both young and old...from old favorites to new. The cast includes performances by returning actors, and directors, such MASON WILKERSON (Edmund) [Oliver!], CALEB WILKERSON (Peter) [The Children's Hour], GRACE WILKERSON (Red Bird) [Oliver!], CASI WILKERSON (White Witch) [Director of Oliver, The Rainmaker & Pride and Prejudice], JAMES WREDE(Professor/Father Christmas) [A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever & Pride and Prejudice], RACHEL WREDE (Hyena) [The Best Christmas Pageant Ever], Paul Richter (Tumnus) [The Children's Hour & Pride & Prejudice], Tony Onorati (Dwarf)[Arsenic and Old Lace & Pride and Prejudice], DYLAN TWINER (Fenris Ulf), [Lion in Winter, The Farnsworth Invention & The Woman in Black], DEYA OZBURN (Mrs. Beaver), [Oliver!, The Children's Hour & The Importance of Being Earnest], BLAKE R. YORK (Mr. Beaver) [The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940], ELLIOT WEINER (Aslan) [The Rainmaker] and KADI BURTT (Raccoon) [A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum].

Just the story for the entire family during the holiday season. Join four children as they step through the Wardrobe into a land that will forever change their lives and propel them into a tale of adventure and magic! Parental Advisory: This production is filled with adventure and swordplay that is exciting for the whole family; some scenes may need "extra hugs" from: Moms, Dads, Brothers, Sisters, Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles and/or Cousins.

The Lakewood Playhouse was founded in 1938 and has established itself with theatre that is both intimate and epic.
