Written by Emily Harvey and directed by Samantha Cooper, Nevermore is part scripted play and part physical theatre. Following the relationship of Eddie, a starving writer, and Valerie, a mysterious woman, Nevermore explores the inner psychological workings of two people seemingly thrown together by chance. Both are haunted beings with ulterior motives, using their pasts to direct their futures.
Nevermore performs October 11 – October 27 at 226 Summit Ave E on Capitol Hill. Shows are Thursday – Saturday at 8pm, with Saturday Matinee performances at 2pm. Limited number of free tickets are available for the October 18 and 25 8pm performances through ArtsCrush. Tickets are $10 and are available on Brown Paper Tickets.
