Tacoma Little Theatre is honored to present the Alfred Uhry's Tony Award winning The Last Night of Ballyhoo, directed by Jeff Kingsbury.

The special "Pay What You Can" performance will be on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 7:30pm. Tickets for that performance will be available beginning Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in person or over the phone.

It's December 1939 and Adolph Freitag, his sister Boo, and nieces Lala and Sunny - a Jewish family so highly assimilated they have a Christmas tree in the front parlor - are looking forward to Ballyhoo, a lavish cotillion ball sponsored by their restrictive country club. Adolph's worker Joe Farkas is an attractive eligible bachelor and an Eastern European Jew, familiar with prejudice but unable to fathom its existence within his own religious community. His presence prompts college student Sunny to examine intra-ethnic bias, her Jewish identity (or lack thereof), and the beliefs with which she's been raised.

This production features Katelyn Hoffman (Lala Levy), Kim Holm (Reba Freitag), Stacie Hart (Boo Levy), Russ Holm (Adolph Freitag), Kelly Mackay (Joe Farkas), Jill Heinecke (Sunny Freitag), and Steven Walker (Peacy Weil).

The Last Night of Ballyho regular performances will run Friday, March 4, 2016 until Sunday, March 20, 2016. Friday and Saturday showings are at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. This show is recommended for all 12 and up.

Regular tickets are $24.00 (Adults). $22.00 (Seniors 60+/Students/Military), and $20.00 (Children 12 and under). Tickets may be purchased online at www.tacomalittletheatre.com, or by calling our Box Office at (253) 272-2281. Group rates are available for 10 or more, and special FLEX passes for 6 are only $120.00.
