Following the success of its January 2009 production, Ear to the Ground returns to Theatre Off Jackson with Not All Clowns Are Bozos II: Clown Harder, an evening of theatrical clowning to run Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, January 14, 15, and 16, 2010 at 8pm.

In December, Ear to the Ground announced the launch of its campaign to fund Not All Clowns Are Bozos II: Clown Harder via a grassroots fundraising project at www.kickstarter.com. The project aimed to raise $1,500 to fund the production while offering rewards such as program recognition, mixtapes, and invitations to special events for those pledging their support of the show. As of January 11, 2010, the campaign has raised $1,695, surpassing its goal by almost $200. Ear to the Ground Artistic Director Valerie Moseley responded to the campaign's success: "We met our fund raising goal more than a week ahead of schedule - we're so thrilled to receive that kind of support. I think we really reached some folks with our show last year, and we love that the momentum is building!" She continues, "The success of this project is incredibly heartwarming to us, especially in this time of financial stress when funding from additional sources such as grants is becoming harder and harder to obtain." While their initial fundraising goal has been met, Ear to the Ground continues to accept donations until 5:00pm January 12, 2010.

Ear to the Ground is also reaching out to audience members who are initially averse to clowning via a special 3-for-the-price-of-2 ticket deal.
