Presented with views from three sides, in the Lakewood Playhouse's unique "U-Shaped" seating, this musical production of "Monty Python's SPAMALOT" will drop you right into the middle of Arthur's very silly quest for the Holy Grail!

Lakewood is proud to present this musical which has been (lovingly) ripped off from the World Famous Motion Picture Comedy MONTY PYTHON & THE HOLY GRAIL. Monty Python's SPAMALOT is being Directed by Lakewood Playhouse's Managing Artistic Director JOHN MUNN, who has been a Monumental "Python" Fan since the age of twelve. John has directed such shows at Lakewood Playhouse as The Lion in Winter, The Farnsworth Invention and last season's The Children's Hour. "Monty Python's SPAMALOT" is being Musically Directed by DEBORAH LYNN ARMSTRONG-Musical Director of our Oliver! The show is being Choreographed by CASI WILKERSON-Director of Oliver!, Pride & Prejudice and last season's The Rainmaker. Mrs. Wilkerson also served as Choreographer of Oliver! and for our production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum).

The show consists of an ensemble of Local Comedic Actors; featuring both new, and returning faces to the Lakewood Playhouse stage: STEVE TARRY (Arthur), COLEMAN HAGERMAN (Patsy), GRETCHEN BOYT (Lady of the Lake), BRITTANY GIFFINS (Ladies Ensemble), KADI BURT (Ladies Ensemble), DAVID PHILLIPS (Male Ensemble), CALEB WILKERSON (Male Ensemble), MASON WILKERSON (Male Ensemble), DYLAN TWINER (Head Techie), KIRA ZINCK (Techie) and STEPHANIE HUBER (Techie).

Lakewood is proud to introduce the following actors to the Lakewood Playhouse Stage: GARY CHAMBERS (Sir Galahad), XANDER LAYDEN (Sir Lancelot), BRANDON ERENHEIM (Sir Bedevere), TIM McFARLAN (Sir Robin), KYLE SINCLAIR (Historian) and LARRY HAGERMAN (Male Ensemble).

Lakewood Playhouse's Presentation of "MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT" will also feature performances by Monty Python's very own ERIC IDLE (Host / God). We're very serious about this. Really...we are. He's going to be in every show. Every single one...Including the Matinees. We wouldn't kid you about this. Seriously.

ABOUT THE SHOW: A musical comedy "lovingly ripped off from" the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Like the film, it is a highly irreverent parody of the Arthurian Legend, but it differs from the film in many ways, beginning with women slapping men in the face with fish. The Winner of the 2004 Tony Award for Best Musical! A Lakewood Playhouse Premier!

Parental Advisory: Large, heaping amounts of Crude Honor with some side-orders of Innuendo, a Bit of Cursing and a cornucopia of Naughty Bits not suitable for the entire family. Well, maybe your Aunt from Yelm...She's a bit progressive.

The Lakewood Playhouse was founded in 1938 and has established itself with theatre that is both intimate and epic. The theatre is located within the Lakewood Towne Center, 5729 Lakewood Towne Center Blvd., Lakewood, Washington 98499.
