KEXP & Seattle Center Concerts at the Mural returns for its seventh year in August with four nights of live concerts, free-of-charge, featuring some of the region's best indie music, along with some noted national artists, starting at 5:30 p.m., Fridays, Aug. 1 - 22, at Mural Amphitheatre at Seattle Center.
The Friday evening concerts continue the KEXP and Seattle Center tradition of starting off the warm summer weekends with a blast of engaging, all-ages culture. They invite neighbors, area workers and visitors alike to spread a blanket on the Mural Amphitheatre lawn and listen to an eclectic mix of bands, specially selected by KEXP 90.3 FM.

Following the Aug. 8 concert, we are partnering with Decibel Festival to present a special Fountain of Light event, 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., featuring electronic video artists-created images projected onto International Fountain, with live DJs and an after concert dance party.

Seating for Concerts at the Mural is on a first-come basis. Folding chairs and blankets are allowed. Large coolers/ice chest, umbrellas, pets, video, and audio recorders are not allowed. A beer garden begins at 5 p.m. for people 21 years of age and older with a valid ID, and fresh foods will be available on-site. In addition, Seattle Center Armory food merchants will be open for food and drink.
