The Lakewood Playhouse will present the FINAL SHOW of our 76th SEASON: DROOD - THE MUSICAL (Based on Unfinished Novel THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD by CHARLES DICKENS) Adapted by Rupert Holmes. This Unique Musical is never the same twice as the Audience gets to Choose The Ending Every Show!!

The Musical will be performed on Fridays, Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. Performances will be May 29th through June 28th 2015 with Special Showings at 8:00pm on Thursday, June 4th (Pay What You Can Night) and 8:00pm on Thursday, June 11th (Pay What You Can" Actor's Benefit). Our Ticket Prices are $29.00 (General Admission), $26.00 (Military), $27.00 (Seniors) and $24.00 (Students/Educators).

Presented in the Lakewood Playhouse's thrust configuration with seating facing the stage as well on both of its sides. This production of"DROOD - THE MUSICAL" will drop you right into the middle of a Gorgeous British Music Hall for an evening of Wonderful Music, Tongue-in-Cheek Performances and a Decidedly Difficult Mystery!!

DROOD - THE MUSICAL will be directed by Tacoma Little Theatre Managing Artistic Director CHRIS SERFACE as Part of the "Director's Exchange Program" that will see Lakewood Playhouse Managing Artistic Director JOHN MUNN directing TLT's Final Show of their 96th Season - CABARET (Opening May 22nd). DROOD will also feature Musical Direction by DEBORAH L. ARMSTRONG (Education Production Manager of LPH's own LAKEWOOD INSTITUTE OF THEATRE). This production will also feature the phenomenal Choreography of HEATHER MALROY!

The Production Features over Twenty Actors with both some new faces and some returning names to the Lakewood Playhouse Stage. Featuring: DuWayne Andrews Jr. (Neville), Heather Malroy (Helena), Chris Cantrell (Durdles), Gary Chambers(Jasper), Shelleigh-Mairi Ferguson (Puffer), Brynn Garrett (Drood), Martin Goldsmith (Throttle), Noah Goucher (Deputy), Derek Hall (Bazzard), Allyson Jacobs-Lake (Rosa), Jed Slaughter (Crisparkle), Steve Tarry (Chairman), Brittany Griffins (Female Ensemble), Elisa Law (Female Ensemble), Julia Luna (Female Ensemble), Amanda Norman (Female Ensemble), Ben Fisher (Male Ensemble, Alex Koerger (Male Ensemble), Tristan Paredes (Male Ensemble) and Steven Walker (Male Ensemble),
