Lakewood Playhouse's hugely popular LIVE RADIO SHOW returns with the 8th Annual Halloween Radio Gala! This year is a real terrifying treat with THE BIRDS (a faithful adaptation of Daphne DuMauier's masterpiece made popular by the Alfred Hitchcock Film) and selections from LIGHTS OUT (made popular by the famous story from Bill Cosby's childhood). The entire show will be presented as if it were live from a radio studio straight out of the '40s; complete with live sound effects.

Performances are Friday, October 23rd and Saturday October 24th at 8:00pm. Plus, since the Live Radio Show has sold out the last four years in a row, Lakewood is adding a Sunday Matinee on October 25th at 2:00pm. Ticket prices are $25.00 per Person. Entry into the show includes complimentary hor d'oeuvres. Wine will also be available at $5.00 per glass.

Since it is Halloween, costumes are welcomed but not required...but we sure would love to see you in yours!

This year's Gala is directed by JAMES VENTURINI and includes both new, and returning, favorites: Theresa Byrd, Chris Cantrell, Christian Carvajal, Nicole Lockett, Gabriella Marler, David Phillips, Phil Raschke, James Venturini, Harlan Zinck and Kira Zinck.

The Lakewood Playhouse was founded in 1938 and has established itself with theatre that is both intimate and epic. The theatre is located within the Lakewood Towne Center, 5729 Lakewood Towne Center Blvd., Lakewood, Washington 98499. For more information, visit www.LakewoodPlayhouse.org.
