Seattle's most glamorous holiday tradition returns to the Triple Door for its seventeenth glittery season! Lily Verlaine and Jasper McCann are elated to announce the return of their award-winning wintertime spectacle, Land of the Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker running at The Triple Door from December 1-28 for 36 performances. Tickets are on sale now and may be reserved online via The Triple Door box office here.
All your favorite characters will be back, including Lily Verlaine's Sugar Plum Fairy, the light-juggling magic of Babette La Fave, the ever-lovable Snowflakes… and of course the swinginest band in the Land, The Nutcracker Nonette!
Verlaine & McCann have been working tirelessly to cultivate an amazing group of exceptional artists to make 2023's season memorable for our new and returning guests. Broadway musical actor (and Radio City Music Hall's Santa Claus) Scott Willis joins the ensemble this year as Charles Drosselmingus. Fan-Favorite Patrick Jeffrey returns from Minneapolis to reprise his role as The Rat King, and will share the role with Tadger Sinclair (former soloist at Pacific Northwest Ballet), recently off his star turn as Monarch Butterfly in Through The Looking Glass. Our favorite Las Vegas showgirl Laurel Bordeaux will lace up her pointe shoes to return as Marzi the Shepherdess, and a number of fresh new faces from 2022 will light up the Corps du Burlesque. Lots of other surprises await… so prepare to be enchanted by Land Of The Sweets like never before!
We can't wait to welcome you back to our magical land where jazz, ballet, striptease and song swirl together to delight you! With 36 performances this year, there's more “Peace, Love, and Glamour” than ever before! Join us!
