Kimball B. Allen shares the stage with other Seattle performers at the Annex Theatre's SPIN THE BOTTLE on January 2, 2015. Chronicling his upbringing as a fabulous black sheep through colorful narration, the Bambi-loving vegetarian, ballet slipper wearing storyteller performs the excerpt, "Deer Meat", from his best-selling Off-Broadway one-man show, "Be Happy Be Mormon".
Annex Theatre, the longest-running fringe theatre on Capitol Hill, announces its 28th SEASON IN 2015. SPIN THE BOTTLE, now under the direction of Catherine Blake Smith, celebrates 18 years of presenting new and familiar performers in a late-night cabaret setting.
Allen is a contemporary Seattle based playwright and performer. Allen has been heard as a featured guest on radio and podcast shows from New York City to Honolulu, and filmed with such networks as Comedy Central and Amazon Studios. He has written for several nationally syndicated publications and enjoys performing segments of his original stories at Seattle's Fresh Ground Stories, A Guide to Visitors and Mortified Live events. He is a member of the prestigious Dramatist Guild of America; a Nominator for the Gregory Awards and also dedicates his time and energy as a Director for the YMCA.
