Jet City Improv has announced the hiring of Keith Dahlgren to serve as the company's new managing director.
Keith brings an extensive background in the Seattle theater arts scene to his new position. He was a founding member of Seattle TheatreSports and later served as the company's managing director when it became Unexpected Productions. He later went on to serve as the general manager of Village Theater at the Everett Performing Arts Center and as managing director of Seattle Public Theater at the Bathhouse on Green Lake.
"We feel very fortunate to have someone of Keith's caliber, integrity and skill to help guide Jet City Improv into the future" says Nancy Osborn Nicholas, who has served as the company's interim managing director since August of 2013.
"I have known Keith and worked with him for years," says Andrew McMasters, artistic director and co-founder of Jet City Improv. "It is amazing to have him on our team, and I look forward to working together to build a world class improv community in the Pacific Northwest."
Jet City Improv has been in operation for 22 years and employs 5 full-time staff members, and upwards of 50 actors and theater professionals over the course of one year.
