Tickets are now on sale for Intiman Theatre's 2006 Gala performance, "An Evening with Adam Guettel and Friends," on Saturday, June 10. The Gala will include songs from The Light in the Piazza performed by Adam Guettel, the musical's Tony Award-winning and Grammy-nominated composer and lyricist, and special guest artists.

In addition to the performance, which will be held at the Intiman Playhouse, 201 Mercer Street at Seattle Center, the Gala will include a hosted cocktail reception, multi-course dinner and dancing. Tickets range from $300 to $750; individual tickets and corporate tables are available. All proceeds will benefit Intiman's artistic, education and
community programs.

The Light in the Piazza, written by Craig Lucas and composer/lyricist Adam Guettel based on the novel by Elizabeth Spencer, had its world premiere at Intiman Theatre in 2003. The musical, directed by Intiman Artistic Director Bartlett Sher, is now playing an extended Broadway run at Lincoln Center Theater and was honored with six 2005 Tony Awards,
more than any other production.

For more information or to purchase tickets, patrons should call Anne-Marie Guerrero at 206.269.1901 ext 226 or gala@intiman.org.
