Seattle announces the first year line up of the Heineken City Arts Festival happening October 20th through the 23rd. Held in 18 iconic clubs, halls, and venues across the city, the festival is four days of performances and cross-genre collaborations within the city's core as Seattle heads indoors for the winter.

THE LINEUP:

Belle and Sebastian, Blue Scholars, She and Him, Gogol Bordello, Big Boi, Blitzen Trapper, The Vaselines, Roky Erickson, Brother Ali, Foals, James Carter & John Medeski, Dum Dum Girls, Macklemore with Ryan Lewis, The Weepies, Chase Jarvis' Seattle 100 Project, Fresh Espresso, Pat Graney Company's Faith Triptych, The Maldives, Alloy Orchestra Scores Metropolis at SIFF, DBR Featuring Emeline Michel, Sera Cahoone, Atomic Bombshells Burlesque, Head Like A Kite, DJ Spooky with Joshua Roman, Late Night Piano Bar with Festival Artists, Our Lady J, Sarah Rudinoff, Nick Garrison, Sara Edwards and Paula the Swedish Housewife Present Guys n' Dolls, Brent Amaker and the Rodeo, Seabear, Paul Rucker, Tilson, Theresa Rebeck, Seattle Opera & Pacific Northwest Ballet Present the Encore Ball, Picasso and Braque Go to the Movies, Star Anna and the Laughing Dogs, The Head and the Heart, Esben and the Witch, Pica Beats, Mash Hall, and Massy Ferguson.

The Festival also features: Chamber vs. Chamber with Paul Rucker and Tilson on rap, spoken word, chamber music, and hip hop. Fireside Chats with Amy O, Charles Mudede, Nassim Assefi, Larry Mizell, Marcie Sillman, and more. Weir Harman and Michael Hebb host famous soliloquies with renowned directors and notable non-actors, NW Film Forum with CW Winter, Walking Tours · Hip-Hop Church, Truck Stop Mobile Food and more TBA.

Passes starting at $60 will go on sale on August 7th at www.cityartsfest.com.

Tickets to individual shows will be available starting August 28th.
