Merry. Mirthful. Mad. Seattle comedians Lisa Koch and Peggy Platt (aka Dos Fallopia) return to ACT with their wackadoodle, gender-bending holiday sketch series, Ham for the Holidays: Who's Afraid of Virginia Ham? Directed by David Hunter Koch, the long-running cult series has found a hammy holiday home at ACT's Falls Theatre, in collaboration with ACTLab. Platt and Koch take you on a holiday outing packed with devilish social satire, cockeyed musical parodies, and more wigs than Lady Gaga.
• The Colonel and Shenille play lounge hits on a sightseeing riverbarge tour;
• Three's Custody, a 70's sitcom set in prison;
• Presidential Family Feud, featuring relatives of political candidates;
• The tiny Sequim Gay Men's Chorus sing with glee;
• Country duo The Spudds merge Dr. Seuss with Dynasty, for How the Bitch Stole Christmas.
Ham features performances by Platt, Koch, Michael Oaks, and musical director D.J. Gommels. The creative team includes Robert J. Aguilar (Lighting/Set), Candace Frank (Costumes), Robin Macartney (Props/Set), Akemi Hart (Wigs) and Lisa Koch (Sound/Video).
Ham for the Holidays contains adult humor and themes recommended for ages 14+.
