This Fall, Forward Flux Productions will present its first two full productions in Seattle after relocating from New York City last year. Two brand new plays showing in the same space: the Northwest regional premiere of "Green Whales," a dark comedy about falling in love by Lia Romeo, and the world premiere of "Still Life," a touching and humorous look at life and loss in the age of terrorism by Barbara Blumenthal-Ehrlich. September 16 - October 3, 2015 at Kaladi Brothers / Gay City (517 East Pike St, Seattle WA 98122). Wesley Frugé (Artistic Director, Forward Flux) directs.

Both plays are provocative new works written by women, and both are under 90 minutes with no intermission. You can see one, see both, or see two in one night (7pm and 9pm start times). It will truly be an intimate experience - all seats are less than 6ft from the stage.

About "Green Whales"

Karen is a middle-aged woman with a chromosomal disorder that makes her appear to be in her early teens. As a result, she has trouble meeting men - until her alcoholic sister sets her up with a suspected pedophile. The real trouble is, she likes him. "An edgy, daring play that's not easily forgotten." -- Gregory M. Alonzo, Stark Insider

The cast features Rachel Anne Godbe, Clayton Michael, Craig Peterson, Leslie Wisdom.

About "Still Life"

A series of subway bombings have shut down the city, and Lydia is stuck with her annoying son-in-law while anxiously awaiting news from her daughter who was last seen getting on the train. To make matters worse, a celebrated photographer has become obsessed with Lydia and won't leave her alone. "Still Life" was an honorary mention on The Kilroy List 2015.

The cast features Gretchen Douma, Pilar O'Connell and Brandon J Simmons.
