Seattle Theatre Group (STG) presents Erin McCarley, with special guest Landon Pigg, on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 9:00pm at the High Dive.

Breakout artist and critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Erin McCarley continues touring this fall with fellow Nashville artist Landon Pigg as direct support. The shows will support McCarley's Universal Republic debut album Love, Save the Empty, which NPR claims "captures something in the air" and The Wall Street Journal declares has "depth that demands repeated investigation." In addition to critical praise, the record has also experienced widespread commercial success, setting a new record at iTunes for the most downloaded "Single of the Week."

Love, Save the Empty arrives after a remarkable year for McCarley who first garnered attention at 2008's SXSW Music Festival. Tracks from the record are gaining widespread notice on television and film, with multiple songs featured on episodes of "Grey's Anatomy," "Privileged," and "One Tree Hill." Additionally, the title track from the record appeared in the major motion picture He's Just Not That Into You starring Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck and Scarlett Johansson, & many others. McCarley has also been a guest on the "Late Show with David Letterman," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson."

Recorded in Nashville, the 11-track album was produced by McCarley's longtime friend and collaborator Jamie Kenney. After working on the album for nearly two years, McCarley confesses, "I really tried to search within myself and others to find the authentic core." In addition to Kenney, the album features renowned musician and producer Greg Laswell, a co-writer of the track "Bobblehead."

Recently, McCarley has toured with artists including Paolo Nutini, Mat Kearney, Jacks Mannequin, Matt Nathanson, James Morrison and Brett Dennen. She also was invited to perform at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and Mile High Festival in Denver, CO.

Tickets are $15.00 not including applicable fees. Tickets are on sale Friday, August 14 at 10am at Tickets.com, in person at the Paramount Theatre box offices, 24-hour kiosks located outside The Paramount & Moore Theatres, charge by phone at 877-STG-4TIX, or online at STGPresents.org.
