"Having WICKED back in Seattle is always a delight. Watching the excitement of our audiences as they arrive with wide-eyed anticipation each time, is perhaps the most rewarding part of presenting this production. People simply cannot get enough and we love that. I don't think I'm speaking out of school when I say, the Emerald City of Seattle loves WICKED," stated Seattle Theatre Group Executive Director, Josh LaBelle.
Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz. One - born with emerald-green skin - is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, and how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
