Get the first last laugh at BPA's 1st Annual LAST COMEDY SHOW EVER. The event headlines four of the top touring comedians in the USA in performances spanning two nights at BPA. See PETER GREYY (Seattle International Comedy Competition Director of Talent) and DAVID CROWE (Winner of both the Seattle and San Francisco Comedy Competition) on Friday, January 13, and BRETT HAMIL (Writer/Cartoonist for Seattle Weekly and City Arts) and Rodney Sherwood (NBC's Friends, The CW's Grimm, and Emmy Award Winner!) on Saturday, January 14.
Sharing the stage both nights are comedian and radio host Dan Rosenberg, improv actor Jon Hibbs, and musician and expert-on-everything Raffi Minasian for a live, unique, and improvised "radio" show, complete with interviews with the four stand-up comedians.
PETER GREYY is a professional touring comedian, an effective comedy coach, and the Director of Talent for both the San Francisco Comedy Competition and the Seattle International Comedy Competition. Once described as "The Godfather of Alt-Comedy in Seattle," Peter has performed across the continent in Comedy Clubs, theaters, and festivals - including multiple performances at both the Bridgetown Comedy Festival and the Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival. Peter has worked with many of today's top comedians, including Jim Gaffigan, Mike Birbiglia, Doug Benson, Joan Rivers, and the late Greg Giraldo. Visit online at www.petergreyy.com.
DAVID CROWE is a 20-year veteran of the comedy stage. After winning both the Seattle and San Francisco Comedy Competitions, then performing for a US President the same year, his career took off and has never stopped. On stage Crowe is armed with a "gallery of facial expressions," a host of accents, and a "nerdy charisma that is utterly captivating." He has been featured on Showtime with his own One Hour Comedy Special "Crooked Finger," along with numerous appearances on Comedy Central, Bob&Tom Radio, SiriusXM, and Pandora. Overseas, he crushed the competition at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival, garnering three perfect 5-Star reviews from their rather sticky and jaded press. BRETT HAMIL is a standup comic, writer and talk show host based in Seattle where The Stranger called him "a truly treasured ham." He's also a columnist and cartoonist for City Arts Magazine. His sketches and political commentary videos spun off into a quarterly talk show at the Northwest Film Forum - "The Seattle Process" with Brett Hamil, for which the Seattle Weekly called him "the city's premier political comic." This year he released his first album, "Grower." He lives on Seattle's south end with a wife, a baby, and two strange dogs. Visit Brett online at www.bretthamil.com.
Rodney Sherwood, an Emmy winning performer and runner up in the Seattle International Comedy Competition, is a seasoned professional. A touring comedian for over 20 years, Rodney has performed all over the world. In addition to comedy, Rodney is an accomplished television and motion picture actor seen on TV's, Grimm, Leverage, Friends, and That 70's Show. Rodney has recently appeared in the movies; Seven Minutes, The Architect and, Grassroots. Visit online at www.rodneysherwood.com.
DAN ROSENBERG is a comedian, writer, and radio host, RAFFI MINASIAN is a widely published automobile designer, illustrator, writer, teacher, and classic car collector. JONATHAN HIBBS is an improvisational comedy expert, performer, and teacher. In a lively discussion spanning cars, culture, and politics, and fielding questions from callers, this "unholy trinity of admitted geeks" formerly hosted the radio talk show "Clutch Radio," which previously played weekly on CBS Seattle's KFNQ-AM 1090.
