Get one hot ticket for two great shows this March. Join us for BPA Theatre School's annual Winter Showcase, a family-friendly event showcasing talented students in the 2nd - 12th grade in a two-feature performance: "Bainbridge to Broadway '16" by Liz Ellis and Zandi Carlson and Shakespeare's classic comedy "Twelfth Night" on March 22 and 24.
"Bainbridge to Broadway '16" is directed by Liz Ellis and includes music direction by Michelle Abad, and choreography by Helen Heaslip. BPA Theatre School's "Performance Series" students present a musical revue featuring popular and classic Broadway hits, all strung together with charming scenes. This never-been-seen-before show is sure to delight and thrill audience members! Performances are Tuesday and Thursday, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Next up, join BPA Theatre School's "Teen Intensive" students for "Twelfth Night," William Shakespeare's classic comedy featuring mistaken identities, sword fighting, and true love. When Viola is washed ashore in Illyria, she must disguise herself as a man, only to fall for Duke Orsino, who is in love with the Countess Olivia, who falls in love with Viola, disguised as Cesario! Add in some prankster clowns and servants, and the stage is set for a hilarious comedy. "Twelfth Night" is directed by BPA Theatre School Director of Education Zandi Carlson with assistance from Catherine Macleod. Performances are Tuesday and Thursday, beginning at 8:00 p.m.
BPA Theatre School's Winter Showcase appears Tuesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 24.
