ArtsWest is pleased to announce PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, the Tony Award-winning musical about the early adventures of Peter Pan, opening at the ArtWest Playhouse and Gallery on November 17. PETER AND THE STARCATCHER is appropriate for all ages and most fun for ages 10 & up. The performances will run Thursday through Friday until Decemeber 23.

Led by Eric Ankrim, the visionary director behind ArtsWest's 2015 smash hit AMERICAN IDIOT, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER features music, ingenious stagecraft and a dozen brilliant actors playing over 100 different characters. As the story begins, starcatcher-in-training Molly meets an orphan boy longing for a home: together, surrounded by a colorful cast of friends and enemies, they embark on the adventure of a lifetime and a dazzling journey of self-discovery. Fans of J.M. Barrie's original Peter Pan novels will love this exciting new tale, and the whole family will delight in PETER AND THE STARCATCHER'S vibrant storytelling, boisterous energy and limitless imagination.

In addition to a cast composed entirely of Seattle actors, the Creative Team for PETER AND THE STARCATCHER features Gregory Award-nominated Lighting Designer Tristan Roberson (4,000 MILES and AMERICAN IDIOT), Scenic Designer Julia Welch (REALLY REALLY and Bad Apples), and Costume Designer Siri Nelson (5th Avenue Theatre).
