In response to strong ticket sales and critical acclaim, ArtsWest will extend the run of Peter and the Starcatcher through Tuesday, December 27. The additional performances are scheduled for Monday 12/26 and Tuesday 12/27 at 7:30pm. Tickets for the added performances can be purchased immediately at ArtsWest.org.

Peter and the Starcatcher, directed by Eric Ankrim (director of ArtsWest's 2015 smash hit American Idiot), has received rave reviews and a wildly enthusiastic response from audiences. Hundreds of patrons, young and old, have flocked to ArtsWest for the rollicking adventure of the orphan boy who became Peter Pan. Featuring a brilliant ensemble cast, enchanting musical numbers and ingenious stagecraft, Peter and the Starcatcher has stirred the imagination and lifted the spirits of theater-goers across the region. With this extension, hundreds more can experience this captivating story of self-discovery - as Misha Berson of the Seattle Times wrote, "...a boatload of fun, a new spin on a myth as timeless as its title character."

The success of Peter and the Starcatcher follows that of Ghosts, which also enjoyed an extended run, and arrived alongside a record-breaking moment at ArtsWest, which saw the subscriber goal for 2016-2017 surpassed before the season even began. After Peter and the Starcatcher, the 2016-17 season continues with the newly announced The Little Match Girl Passion (December 11 - December 22), Mothers and Sons (January 19 - February 11), Milk Like Sugar (March 2 - March 25), Frozen (April 20 - May 14), and concludes with Sweeney Todd (June 1 - July 1).
