As rehearsals continue for The 5th Avenue's upcoming production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat®, the show's star, American Idol Finalist Anthony Fedorov, has been spending some of his free time exploring some of Seattle's tourist sites, from the famous to the obscure.

Now as a special event, Fedorov is taking part in a city-wide Scavenger Hunt sponsored by The 5th. Each day this week special clues have been released on the theatre's Backstage Blog at http://backstage5thave.blogspot.com/2009/09/anthony-fedorov-scavenger-hunt.html, as well as the Theatre's Twitter and Facebook accounts at http://twitter.com/backstage5thave and http://www.facebook.com/5thave, detailing the where, and when, of his location tomorrow, Friday October 2nd.

The first person to find Anthony at his location will be given two tickets to Joseph, as well as a night's stay at Seattle's Hotel Max, downtown's hippest hotel, which features over 350 original paintings and photographs of emerging and established local artists in its lobby, corridor, and rooms.

The classic Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical retells the Biblical story of Joseph, the young man with 11 troublesome brothers and a particularly splendid coat. This production features not only Fedorov but regional powerhouse Jennifer Paz (Evita, Beauty and the Beast at the Village Theatre, Buddy at The 5th), Dusty 45s lead singer Billy Joe Huels as the Pharaoh, and an onstage chorus of 52 kids from all around the Puget Sound area, including not just Seattle but communities as far out as Gig Harbor, Sammamish, Marysville, Snoqualmie, and Leavenworth.

Tickets for Joseph, as well as season subscriptions to the 2009-2010 Season, are available over the phone by calling 206-625-1900/toll-free 888-5TH-4TIX (584-4849), in person at the box office at 1308 5th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101, or online at www.5thavenue.org.
