7th Annual Seattle International Dance Festival Runs Now thru 6/10

The 7th Annual Seattle International Dance Festival (SIDF), Beyond the Threshold runs today, June 1 through June 10, 2012 and plans to "shake up the thriving and rapidly expanding South Lake Union neighborhood are well under way." The collaborative partnerships with South Lake Union Chamber of Commerce (SLU), Vulcan, Inc. and Cornish College of the Arts that launched in 2010 will continue, and SLU residents like Amazon.com join in the artistic fun by hosting SIDF on their plaza on June 1 at 11:30 a.m.
This ten-day dance explosion fills the South Lake Union neighborhood and the Seattle Streetcar with a multitude of international, national and local dancers. There are five artistic programs including: Art on the Fly, The Inter|National Series, Spotlight on Seattle, The Threshold Institute, and the new Sanity Cafe.
Tickets to most performances are $20 in advance, $25 at the door (Students/Seniors are $15 in advance $20 at the door). All details, including performance times, locations and ticketing information are available at www.SeattleIDF.org.
