Romeo & Juliet at Festival Theatre

Dance meets drama with powerful effect in Scottish Ballet’s iconic and vivid reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s greatest love story.

Choreographer Krzysztof Pastor (Dutch National Ballet) has created a Romeo & Juliet for Scottish Ballet as timeless as love itself; set against a dramatic multimedia backdrop, his story of star-crossed lovers spans three decades of Italian life.

Romeo & Juliet is set to the world-famous Prokofiev score - performed live by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra and with special rearrangement by kind permission of the Prokofiev estate.
