Come From Away is an Olivier Award-winning musical that tells the true story of a small Newfoundland community that welcomed thousands of stranded air passengers after the events of September 11, 2001. The show highlights the powerful human connections that emerged during this moment in history, showcasing characters such as Janice, a TV reporter played by Natasha J Barnes, and Beverley Bass, the first female captain for American Airlines portrayed by Sara Poyzer. With music by Irene Sankoff and David Hein and direction by Christopher Ashley, this uplifting production explores themes of hope and unity amidst adversity.
