Set in a house on the outskirts of London, Barbies and Drillas follows five housemates—a dancer, writer, climate activist, parliamentary assistant, and an art student—navigating the confusing post-university phase of their lives. As they grapple with the pressures of adulthood, they reflect on their friendships, love lives, and aspirations, often with humor and chaos. Originally penned by Albie Marber, the show offers a poignant look at the uncertainty of youth and the fleeting nature of these life-defining moments. Marber, a writer and performer who has appeared in projects like Tolkien and The Critic, draws on his own university experiences to create this heartfelt comedy.
