The producers of the hit new comedy The Play That Goes Wrong have chosen their top pooches to appear in the show at the King's from Monday 10th until Saturday 15th March.
The Play That Goes Wrong, which recently received a WhatsOnStageAward for best new comedy, follows the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society's attempt to put on a 1920s murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that goes wrong does.
Pawing off tough competition to win Glasgow Pup Idol, and tread the boards at the King's, are our winners:
Katie and her owner Morag Cook from Lennoxtown
Katie is a seven year old Border Collie and is a member of the Kirkintilloch and District Dog Training Club's display team where she held the top trophy for her obedience heel work for the past 4 years. She has performed at galas, agricultural shows and grand openings across central Scotland. Her favourite work is going into primary schools and children's clubs to teach kids responsible behaviour around dogs.
Archie and his owner Kathleen Dunn from Crookston, Glasgow
Archie is a 3 year old Papillion dog who lives alongside his mum Poppy and sister Luna. Archie is a very happy and playful little boy who enjoys his dog training class. He loves the attention and is looking forward to making his stage debut at the King's.
Angus and his owner Ian MacNair from East Kilbride
The English Bull terrier is no stranger to the stage having starred as Bulls Eye in a production of Oliver. 7 year old Angus is a show dog and has won a number of awards. He's very friendly and enjoys the lime light.
The three dogs and their owners will be available for photographs at the King's Theatre on Monday 3rd March at 12 noon.
