Following their massively successful international Sweet Home Chicago tour, The Chicago Blues Brothers are now returning to the UK with a brand-new action packed show coming to the King's Theatre Glasgow for one night only on Friday 10 July.

It was all the way back in 1978 that John Belushi & Dan Aykroyd (aka Joliet Jake Blues & Elwood J Blues!) first unleashed the might that was to become The Blues Brothers on the NBC show 'Saturday Night Live' coast to coast in the United States of America. Did Belushi and Aykroyd realise they would initiate an abundance of folk wearing pork pie hats and dark glasses, all professing to be on a mission from God? Possibly...what they did become were the ultimate ambassadors of the music they loved!

Somewhat mirroring the films, thirty years of rock solid rhythm and blues have been the foundation of this theatre production. Complete with an elaborate stage set and a 7-piece live band, The Chicago Blues Brothers celebrates over 30 years of the Blues Brothers phenomenon and is packed with over 2 hours of the very best Blues, Soul & Motown music.

As well as featuring hits from both of The Blues Brothers movies including Everybody Needs Somebody, Raw Hide, Gimme Some Lovin, and Sweet Home Chicago, the show also includes unforgettable classics from James Brown, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Otis Reading, Cab 'Minnie the Moocher' Calloway and many more!
