George Steeves (Writer, Performer) was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome when he was 11 years old. He learned to talk by watching Disney movies. Because he was teased so much growing up, he thought that if he could only get on 'American Idol' then he would be accepted. One day he was watching an episode of Oprah's Master Class which featured one of his heroes, Whoopi Goldberg, who talked about how doing a one-woman show helped launch her career. Thus was born the idea of writing and performing 'Magic 8 Ball (My Life With Asperger's)'. Although he has not been on 'American Idol' - yet - George is an actor, singer, songwriter and recording artist with a song on iTunes and YouTube.
