This Christmas you don't need a magic carpet to enjoy Aladdin at the King's Theatre, jump on Glasgow's Subway and you could be quids in.

Don't miss out on £5 off selected* performances when you present your subway ticket, smartcard or SPT staff card at the King's Theatre box office and quote "MAGIC SPT".

James Haworth, General Manager at the King's Theatre Glasgow, said: "We are delighted to be working in partnership with SPT once again, allowing more people to enjoy panto magic at the King's. This Christmas an all-star cast, including Karen Dunbar as the Slave of the Ring and Gavin Mitchell as the evil Abanazar, are sure to provide plenty of laughs and family fun."

Strathclyde Partnership for Transport Chair, Jim Coleman, said: "The panto at the King's is a highlight of Glasgow's festive calendar. Here at Strathclyde Partnership for Transport we are delighted to be partnering with another long running Glasgow institution to offer families the chance to enjoy this spectacular production at a discounted price.

"The panto is a magic day out and the Subway is a convenient transport option to get there. Families can use Park and Ride facilities to avoid bringing their cars into the city centre and with their Subway ticket they can take up this great deal."

*Offer valid for Monday and Tuesday matinee and evening performances and Sunday's 5pm show (excluding 23-28 December). A valid subway ticket, smartcard or SPT staff card must be presented in person at the King's Theatre Box Office (open Mon-Sat 10am-6pm) and quote "MAGIC SPT". This applies to price bands A and B only, subject to availability.

Aladdin runs Friday 6 Dec 2013 - Sun 12 Jan 2014. Call the box office for full details on 0844 871 7648 (bkg fee) or visit www.atgtickets.com/glasgow (bkg fee). Follow us on Facebook www.facebook.com/kingsandtheatreroyalglasgow. Follow us on Twitter! http://twitter.com/GlasgowKings.
